Statement Regarding Former Staff Member

A former Southall Church staff member, Jay Tremblay, was recently arrested as part of an ongoing investigation involving financial misconduct at our church.

In the summer of 2025, his employment with Southall Church ended. Following his departure, the church discovered financial irregularities that raised serious concerns. Church leadership promptly contacted the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, and an investigation was opened. Since that time, we have cooperated fully with law enforcement and have entrusted the matter to the appropriate authorities.

Recently, a warrant was served and Mr. Tremblay was arrested as part of that ongoing legal process. Because the case remains active, we believe it is important to allow law enforcement and the courts to carry that process forward. We will not speculate publicly or provide details that could interfere with those proceedings.

We are deeply grateful for the diligence of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and for the care, prayer, and support our church family has shown throughout this process.

Integrity and faithful stewardship are responsibilities we take seriously. When these concerns came to light, our priority was to respond promptly and responsibly, involve the appropriate authorities, and cooperate fully with their investigation. That remains our commitment today.

As the legal process continues, we are praying for everyone affected, including the former staff member and his family, and trusting the appropriate authorities to carry this process forward.

We will provide additional information when it is appropriate and legally permissible to do so.
